Design

Pascal’s design practice grew through School Street Designs, his former furniture company, where he explored the relationship between raw materials, craftsmanship, and architectural form.

It was there that Pascal created the original I-Beam Trestle Table, pairing a substantial solid wood top with a structural steel I-beam base. The design reflects his approach to furniture as both functional object and sculptural form, and its distinctive industrial language has since been widely reproduced.
